Senior Vice President / Team Director

Peter Green, a 25 year hospitality sales professional, serves as Senior Vice President/Team Director for ConferenceDirect and is based in Washington, DC. He began his career as a Corporate Management Trainee with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in Orlando, FL and following his training relocated and spent over 13 years in Hotel sales in the Washington, DC market working for Loews L’Enfant Plaza Hotel, The Capital Hilton, and The Hilton Washington.

Peter successfully led sales teams as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Capital Hilton and Loews L’Enfant Plaza Hotel. He was the first employee hired and successfully opened, set-up, and managed the sales and conference management divisions at Loews Philadelphia Hotel. He also has extensive experience on the Convention and Visitors Bureau side and served as Vice President of Sales and Services for the San Jose, CA Convention and Visitors Bureau prior to joining ConferenceDirect.

He holds an MBA degree in business finance from George Washington University and a B.A. degree in Hospitality Management from Michigan State University. Peter was recognized for his contributions with ConferenceDirect as Rookie of the Year in 2003, and Sales Associate of the year in both 2004 and 2005. He has consistently ranked in the top five of all sales associates during his tenure with ConferenceDirect and was honored in 2013 with achievement into the President’s Hall of Fame.

Peter is also an active member of ASAE and PCMA and served for two years on the PCMA Annual Meeting Program Committee.
